This is the list of classmates who passed since, or were later identified to have passed before, the last issue of the deceased classmate list of November 2, 2021. The date of their death is given under each individual’s name and additional information and tributes are provided in the accompanying pamphlet.
Every effort has been made to ensure the list is complete. However, if you discover we have missed someone who graduated in 1970, we invite you to help us by providing their name and information through the In Memoriam portal.
Also, if you have comments or special memories you wish to share about one of the following individuals, for this 55th Reunion, please use the portal to enter the person’s name, and add your thoughts about them in the comment box, by September 5th, 2025, so that we can include them in the pamphlet on the Website by September 13, 2025. Comments received after September 5th will be added as close to the September 13 date, as possible. The In Memoriam site will be reviewed periodically for several months after the reunion, for any additional comments or notifications of a classmate’s passing.
Finally, there were many students who were initially part of our class who moved and/or transferred to other schools, and did not graduate from AHS. Some of these individuals have also passed away, and we wish we could honor them as well. Sadly, it is beyond our scope, to accomplish this. We ask your forgiveness for our limitations, and hope that we can remember these former friends, collectively, in a moment of silence at the Reunion.
